Structure - This bimonthly newsletter in PDF format (7 pages), which is delivered to readers’ email inboxes on the first of every other month (6 issues per year), consists of three sections:

► POLITICAL AFFAIRS: the dynamics of factions within the Communist Party, formal and informal meetings of the Politburo and the State Council, power struggles, new appointments, corruption, behind-the-scenes rumors… no aspect of Chinese political affairs remains a secret to Chinarcanes readers.
â–º ECONOMIC AFFAIRS: Information on the activities of Chinese entrepreneurs, their ties to power in Asia and the West, their financing channels, and their alliances and rivalries is primarily intended for senior executives in the financial, automotive, electronics, telecommunications, ICT, and petrochemical sectors.
â–º MILITARY AFFAIRS: Arms sales, bilateral agreements, geostrategy, arsenal modernization, espionage, and military intelligence take center stage in this section.

Sources - Information is gathered through a unique network of French correspondents in Asia drawing exclusively on Chinese sources, led by two journalists:
Agnès Andrésy : author of several books on China’s power brokers published by L’Harmattan, and a journalist specializing in political and economic affairs
E. Neguens : a journalist specializing in geopolitical and military affairs
